Syd nodded and sipped her iced tea. "She adores Asleif and wants to be like her. Too much like her."

Syd shook her head. "It's Zoey's second year of school. There's kindergarten before first grade." A full eight hours a day. Syd had been looking forward to full days of school for the past six years.
