"That's still pretty fantastic. I can handle a grill fine, but when it comes to baking, I'm a menace. Can never manage to get it right. I don't suppose you know how to make oatmeal-butterscotch cookies, or, say, blackberry pie, by chance?" he asks, hopefully.
