Welcome to the Grid
The next thing Stevie knew, she was on a bike.  But it wasn't like any one she could remember having been on before.  The design and feel of it was entirely different, maybe a little like something her mother or not-the-mama would have come up with if they'd been into designing motorcycles instead of suits of armor.

And everything else, well, it kinda looked like that movie with Jeff Bridges, come to think of it.

"What the heck?"

Lysi knows the F4 - her brother might know the Avengers better. Lysi never spent /that/ much time around her father. She knows Thor, Captain America, a few others - but apparently not Hawkeye. And being Lysi, of course, she reasons that Hawkeye must just not be that important, as Avengers go.

"So who was your mom? And... sensor data?"

"Iron Maiden. You wouldn't know her," Stevie says, maybe a little quickly.

She tapped the side of her helmet. "My head gear here. I've been trying to get some kind of reading on this place, and it doesn't make sense. It's like it's not real."

"Huh, despite the hair and stage make up and stuff, I thought they were all guys."

"Not all of them, anyway."

"Huh... so a super hero and a rock star. Cool. So, if its like this isn't real, what is it more like?"

...Okay, Stevie wasn't sure they were having the same conversation here. Ah well.

"I dunno. This science stuff is over my head. It looks like the inside of a compute game or something."

"Ok, so how do you complete this computer game? This was built like a race. Is there a finish line?"

Crap. What had happened in the movie...

"Yeah. That's gotta be it. And we were going the other way, so..."

She revved the bike. "Let's roll."

"Alright... just going to be a bit of a run. My bike blew up, and those don't look built for two. Be right with you, if you want to scout around and find the finish."

"Got it," Stevie said, starting toward where she believed the finish was.

She can't remotely keep up with a bike like this, but she's a lot faster than a human, covering the ground in leaps and bounds while Stevie scouts ahead.

Stevie belatedly realized she should have offered Lysi the bike. Her suit made her faster anyway. Ah well. Hindsight's twenty-twenty.

"There," she said, pointing ahead. "I see it!"

She's not far behind anyway, obviously rather strong, to go with the speed and combat skills, judging by the leaps.

"Good. Just be prepared for anything. If this is some kind of illusion, there might be more."

Stevie managed a grin. "I'm ready. Let's do this thing."

She gunned it.
