Seeking Marlow (After Me, Myself and I)
Titan limps his way toward Marlow's bungalow, still sore and in an immense amount of pain after his recent troubles. It'll be a few days, maybe even a week before he's whole again, but he's not going to wait that long to see her. He would have crawled all the way to her bungalow if he had to, but he's not going to let anyone know just how beat up he is, especially Marlow. She wouldn't be happy to see the bandages as it is.

He knocks on her door and hopes she's not out on the beach.

Even she could tell he didn't want to talk about it, but she would get the story in due time. Somebody would pay for what happened to him.

For now, she was willing to pamper him. "I think I did. The mead was so good and sweet I asked if I could bring some home. Svalin said we would and we did. I have two bottles, and I think Hal has more in his bungalow. I might have to stage an illusion raid to get it."

She talked on about the wedding while she gently nudged him to the sitting room and gathered together pillows and a thick blanket, a bottle of mead, a glass, another pillow...

"...and Vernique seems really nice. I'm glad they're happy," she finished.

	Titan takes a swig from the bottle and smiles as the sweet alcohol slides down his throat. Right now, he was content. "And I bet lots of the godly types made passes at ya." he says drinking a bit more. "Are you sure thats enough for ya?" he asks, nodding at her glass. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"I'll get more." She sat at the end of the sofa facing him with her legs crossed Indian-style. The glass was cradled in both hands as she thought about his words. In the weeks he'd been gone she'd thought of dozens of things to say to him and now couldn't think of one.

"They were mostly nice but I'm pretty sure they thought I was simple minded. I talked to Andy a little but he might still be mad at me. We had words after you disappeared."

	Titan looks at her sidelong. He didn't like it when Walters talked to Marlow, because it usually upset her and Andy was a crafty little bastard. He wouldn't put it past Walters to still be pissed about getting his ass kicked the day they split. "Oh? What did ya talk about?" Titan asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

That brings Titan up a little short, which makes him angry.

For once, he agrees with Andy.

"Marlow...I could hurt you without tryin' hard, especially if somethin' like this every happens again. I don't wanna do that /ever/.

So you need to promise that if somethin' happens and I'm hurtin' people, you'll do what needs to be done...or let someone else do it. Please promise me that." Titan requests.

	"I'm not a beginner, Titan." She swirled the mead in the glass before taking a sip. "I was looking for you, too. I had a plan and a spell, and an island where you would be safe until we could figure out how to fix you. 	*I drank so much I was seeing sparkles. Turned out there really were sparkles. I kind of lost some control over my magic and it threw off lights around me." Marlow slipped in a horror movie, (the cover looked pretty bad with ghosts and monsters so she thought they'd have fun with it) and came back from the kitchen with a pitcher of raspberry iced tea and ice.

The opening credits with cheesy organ music was playing when she settled back down next to Titan to exchange it for her glass of mead. Which she thought was at a higher level than it had been when she left it with him. "What do you want to try with it.
