His blue eyes seem to light up as well, upon seeing her. He kisses her and then hands her the flowers.
"Hey, I /am/ capable of buying them 'just because', you know." he teases. "But, I do have something to talk to you about and I need you in as good of a mood as possible." he says.
"You hungry? I got sandwiches. This healthy eating thing is lame, by the way."
