His breathing quickens a few moments, then settles as she strokes his hair. Kikuya has seen the scars decorating the kensai, he's certainly been injured plenty before, and seems to be taking this well. Still, bullet wounds have their own tricks to them.
At least keeping him calm seems to be going fine.
