When planning doesn't work, try chaos (Jenny)

Andy worked diligently at Scion for the last month in preparation for today. When Sydney got hurt, he thought his idea was dead in the water, but it turned out that he had to cut his time-frame short, but he was going to save a ton on air fare. Knowing a teleporting mystic made a lot things better.

When lunch time came around, he showed up ready at Marlow's bungalow.

"Hey, Marlow. I'm ready when you are." he says, knocking on the door.

	"If I disappear they're more likely to call Rob, but now I wonder what you've heard about Excalibur." She ushered him into her room where YC rested on the end of the bed. "Only what you've told me so far. I'm just hoping their the ask questions first, shoot later type of friends. Otherwise, it could get unpleasant." Andy says.

He looks at YC and smiles, ignoring Titan's voice in his head.

It's a Hell-Beast, Walters! You need to let me out so I can kill it!

Andy shakes his head and looks back to Jenny.

"So, uh, this is the famous Yankee Clipper? He's got the whole orange-and-white ball of fluff thing going." Andy grins.

Jenny pulled out an overnight bag and set it on the bed. YC immediately rose to climb inside and claim it. "They're a good bunch of people. Haven't seen any of them bring a gun to a fight, so I think you're safe. Don't worry, I'll protect you."

YC was removed and set on the floor. The cat went to Andy to sniff at his shoe. After a few seconds, he rubbed against Andy's leg.

"Yankee Clipper is pretty harmless. Opinionated as a cat can get, but he hasn't bit anybody in years."

	Andy looks down at YC and offers a little bit of a scratch behind the ears. Titan still didn't like this, but mostly grumbled to himself. "Well, he seems nice enough." Andy says, turning his attention to YC. "Hey, buddy. Do you mind if I borrow your my High Priestess for awhile? We have some, uh, religious stuff to attend to. Yeah, that's about right." Andy says. YC accepted the ear scratching as due payment for Andy's temporary possession of his human and flicked his tail on the way out of the room. Human religious practices didn't interest him much.

"At least he's not insisting on going with us," Jenny said, grinning. "He must like you, he left you alone with me in a room with a bed." She completed packing by tossing in a set of silky pajamas that might get worn and reached into the closet for a pair of jeans and a shirt. "He's adopted the rest of the team so he'll forgive me for disappearing for a day or so."

	Jenny closed the bedroom door and began taking off her lounging clothes. "Do you really want to stay here?" She let the old gym shorts drop to the floor. "I'd hate to let a view go to waste. 	The next time Jenny saw the clock it was more than two hours later. There wasn't one spot on her body that didn't feel wonderful or cherished. Her demigod didn't need to find the words. 	"I got us reservations at that bed and breakfast you told me about a few months ago. I thought maybe we'd have dinner, do a little dancing and then retire there for the rest of the night. 	One brow arched and a smirk touched her lips. She considered teasing him for half a second but decided against it. Tomorrow was soon enough.
