"I know, Anthony. I feel that way too and I hate it. I hate that we both have pasts that catch up to us and I hate that we both have people in our pasts that want to harm us and our children."
She left the food sit for now.
"I need to know that I have a partner," she said. "Someone who I can rely on to be there for me, to tell me things I need to know, who will be honest with me and who will have some faith in me. No matter what happens."
