Sigurdur wondered if he was passing or failing the test set before him. Did Lady Svalin doubt his devotion to duty, his discipline? Or was she trying to determine if he was able to accept hospitality?
He accepted the chunk of bread and chewed thoughtfully, seeking a solution to this riddle.
"I wouldst enjoy learning of Midgard from one native to the realm, Lady Vernique. If thou would permit me the pleasure of thy company, I wouldst gladly have it for an evening." Sigurdur says.
"However, I wouldst meet the Lady's Defenders and determine who, aside from Halbjorn and her siblings art capable of her defense while I conduct a scouting mission." Sigurdur says thoughtfully.
He hoped he'd passed this test.
