Svalin would normally argue about not needing him to keep watch, but he knew she would not talk him out of it. Like herself, Sigurdur was duty-minded and a bit stubborn.
"This way," she said and led him upstairs to her bedroom. "I must warn thee so thou art not alarmed, I oft wake from nightmares."
