Svalin was stretched out on one of the large couches in the rec room of the main building and was trying hard to enjoy sitting still. Her feet and ankles had started to swell and her wife wasn't going to let her do much besides sit and put her feet up as much as she could. Svalin had tried to argue but it didn't get her anywhere except sitting on the couch with her feet up.

She sighed and looked at the television. To Kill a Mockingbird was on and Svalin was still waiting for the killing to start. Why was kill in the title if there was no killing in it? It didn't make much sense to her, but it was one of her wife's favorite movies and Svalin would watch it.

Svalin focused on the television and was surprised by the sudden kick. She gasped and reflexively put her hand on her stomach.

	Hal may not have that many wits to begin with, but those he has return swiftly, his constitution and dual nature letting him shake off the attack - the latter, plus a threat to his sister, also sending him tumbling into a rage. 	Movement caught Dracula's eye, but he turned too late to avoid the blow. The axe came down on Dracula's shoulder and almost cleaved his arm off. Dracula screamed and turned into mist before floating up to a high air vent. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He eyes Svalin for a moment, growling. But mist is still movement, and the person who set him off is getting away. Halbjorn leaps upward, tearing through the vents in pursuit of the vampire. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dracula floated up through the air vents and into the night sky. He wasn't about to face the redheaded Asgardian head on. There were other ways of getting what he wanted and he just needed a little time to plan. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Thankfully, there's no one else on the roof, or they'd be in trouble. Halbjorn vents, taking out one of the chimneys and the stairwell cover, but ultimately, begins to wind down, catching his breath once Dracula has long since disappeared. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Aye. Art thou wounded?" she asked. She had to ask. Hal would never complain about an injury or even say he was injured unless directly asked. She loved her brother, but he could be frustrating at times. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
