Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (Genoshans, Nell)
When everything was done at the volunteer site, there was cleaning up and meeting at that great little restaurant with the nice private rooms. The whole gang: Andrew, Giovanna, Angelo, Sengai, Rikki...and that Nell girl Gio had met. The St. Croix girl. The American (and therefore baseline) St. Croix girl. Gio was still processing this. Good thing for the restaurant's record keeping away eavesdroppers, in case someone ended up saying something untoward.

"I was there, Rikki. We are soldiers and I recognize your desire to fight the enemy. However it was frustrating to be there. Hear what they said, see what they did, and NOT be able to make them pay for it..." The last word comes out as a slight hiss. His eyes burned a bit in response to his anger, almost shining through his shades. He rubbed his temple. "I'm sorry, I need to go outside for a moment. Please enjoy your meal."

Sengai moves to get up.
