Chaos and the science of a broken motorcycle. (Lysi)
It had been entirely an impulse purchase, but it was the exact same bike she'd had back home.  The damn serial number had even been the same and maybe that is what had sent MC over the edge.  It didn't matter that it needed work; it was hers.

Except...while she could get the bike running, the baby blue 1979 Harley Davidson Sportster had some structural issues.  Namely...it wouldn't drive straight and MC wasn't entirely certain how to fix that and she didn't have a whole lot of resources that took a petite redhead seriously. Not here.  There was only one person she could think of.

Half an hour later, she'd tracked down Lysi and pulled up (or rather skidded dangerously up) to her curb.

"It's amazing! I could never have done that on my own without trying to out-science the damn thing. I really appreciate this." The grope makes her cheeks as red as her hair.

"Are you ready to go? I'm going to assume we'll take your bike, seeing as how I don't know that you'd be able to hold onto me all that well."

She had assumed they'd drive together - but hey, she's not going to object any to having a cute little thing on the back of her bike. "I'm sure I'd find a good handhold or two. But yeah, we can take my bike." she teases. "Grab your helmet."

She fought the blush as hard as she could as she grabbed her helmet but was still turning red as she slid the pink item onto her head.

"Ready."

Making the girl blush is just far too much fun. Lysi hops onto the bike - but perhaps out of respect for MC being all dressed up, she's not quite as psychotic on the road this time - only a little psychotic, headed for her favorite steak place. A little rough around the edges, but the food is good.

Well, she holds to Lysi no less tightly even with the decreased insanity of the ride and when they arrive, MC is aware that she's vastly over-dressed. A little shyly, she clumsily reaches for Lysi's hand as they walk in.

"It smells really good here," she says, squeezing her hand tightly.

The type of place is further indicated by the fact MC gets a number of whistles and catcalls - definitely a place for truckers, a few bikers, and local construction workers. There's a few TV screens showing baseball and soccer, but its not quite a sports bar, more just a steakhouse and bar that happens to have sports - quite a few of those around Seattle, as it turns out.

Lysi gives the worst offenders a possessive glance - this piece of eye candy is hers damnit - which settles down most of it. She apparently has gotten a reputation here among the rough crowd.

"Yeah, food's really good. Best steak I've found yet."

"Maybe you should order for me then. Since you know what's good here." She smiled, trying not to notice the few stares that continued or really think about how quickly they backed off when they looked at Lysi.

Lysi nods, not so much pulling out a chair for MC as kicking one out for her date and letting her sit first. Meanwhile, she shoots a couple ore glares around the room, then settles in as well. "Everything's good, but I can do that. What'cha want to drink?"

"If they have Pyramid on tap and don't card, I'll drink that."

Lysi nods, turning as the waitress shows up, ordering a Pyramid ale for MC and a Mack and Jacks for herself, plus the biggest steak on the menu, rare for herself, and a lighter cut, medium, for MC.

"That work?"

"Oh, yeah. Femizonia is kind of a super high tech, super low tech mix. We have flying single person vehicles, but a lot of people still ride... think the F4 folks called them pterodactyls... things like that. We have lasers, but a lot of girls still use swords and all... sky cycles were one of my favorites though. Kinda like a flying motorcycle that'll hit MACH 3."

"Good question. If mom checks in to see how things are progressing, I'll ask her about it. I don't think Earth has any... though maybe the Fantastic Four would have something like it. I hear they have some nice toys."

"Finances, really. It costs a good bit of money to set these things up and while back home I had money I feel a bit badly about going to this dimension's version of my parents and asking. I'm trying to do it on my own as much as possible. So my little garage is enough for now. Sometimes I get to go visit Mr. Pym and play in his lab."
