The sun was starting to sink on the Western horizon and into the Pacific Ocean as another day was ending. A few miles south of 1800 Palos Verdes Drive the ground erupted in a spray of dirt. One by one soldiers came forth from the ground. Some were Spartans, some were Roman legionnaires, and some were Norsemen. A total of three thousand eventually stood in the dying light. They moved into formation and started marching.

	Halbjorn begins a fighting retreat, tearing one of the heavy double doors off its handles and using it as a thrown weapon to gain himself and his sister some space. "Indeed.
