Ben is, in fact, in the gym shooting baskets with a few of the guys. His back is to the entrance to the Girl's Locker Room, so he doesn't immediately notice when the whispers start.
Quickly, though, one of the guys taps Ben on the shoulder.
"Hey, Parker...isn't that your girlfriend over there with Anne?" he asks.
Ben turns to look.
