Sammy went directly to Nick's door and opened it with a smile on her face. She fell into the role of dutiful daughter easily and convincingly.
He was where she knew he would be. Dad didn't do desks much, but he liked to pace when he was thinking. "Hi Dad. Brought you a visitor. Hope you don't mind."
