Sammy paused. Her reprogramming had been all about Nick and transferring her devotion from him to Mikel. Valentina was still adored. "Be careful with Mom. Don't hurt her. Tell them." She looked expectantly at Mikel. He said he'd always liked Mom. Surely he wouldn't let her get hurt.
