This was the second time Shinsuke had been to this building. The first was in the guise of a deliveryman in which he had dropped off the ancient Yashida calligraphy set that Keiji wished to be given to Amiko Kobayashi. Now he was here on an entirely different chore. He was certain he had evaded pursuit for the moment, but not for long. He had to act quickly. He knew he could not simply enter, given the place's security. So he forced himself to be patient and wait outside, hoping to get a glimpse of the woman.

He gives her a sympathetic look. "I'm..aware of what they did to your mother. I am sorry. Not my fault, I know, but still..someone should say it." For a moment he just remains quiet into a bit of a nervous expression reaches his face. "Did you enjoy the Yashida calligraphy set I sent you. I didn't know your hobbies, but I felt you should have received something after your troubles with your cousin."

"I had been trained to kill as soon as I could properly grasp a weapon. For years it was all I was trained to do, but I never had actually killed a person. Then when I turned twelve, they decided it was time for my first real assignment. To this day I still don't know the man's name, but the look in his eyes haunts me even now. Even after killing became my duty..I could never banish these images. So I pretended not to have them."

"Thank you, but that is not why I tell you this. I tell you because I have seen more faces than usual lately. Glimpses of others I assumed I must have killed..I am not a good person, Amiko, despite what I am sure Shinsuke has told you." Shinsuke looked at his ravaged fingertips before turning back to Amiko. "When we are safe..perhaps I should consider turning myself in to the local authorities. Those people must have had families too. Maybe it could give them some closure."

Keiji nods again, rubbing his eyes a bit with one hand. He realizes his hand was relatively close to hers. Again he thought about taking her hand. It was a childish thought, he knew it, but part of him greatly desired a feeling of comfort. Amiko had already done much for him, he wasn't going to impose on her further. Though during his mental debate his hand moved closer to hers. "So..I've never left hom before. What's Canada like?"

	When she took his hand his own instinctively closed his fingers around it. "Right. You have your duties to Japan. You've already gone out of your way to help a known criminal. 	Her presence had had a calming effect on his nerves and he suddenly allowed himself to acknowledge how exhausted his body was. He yawns suddenly, and loudly, and looks a little embarrassed by it. He quickly looks to make sure Shinsuke was still sleeping. He was. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Keiji's eyes are already hovering below the halfway point. In his semi-awake state he inadvertently discarded formality and said: "Thank you, Amiko."
