But It's My Day Off!
It pained him to admit it, but Vincent had been somewhat remiss lately. In spite of their decision to date one another exclusively, he'd hardly been able to make any time for Asleif. It wasn't as if she'd been hounding him for it, as she seemed thoroughly absorbed in her world travels, but it bothered him, and rightfully so.

A painstakingly thorough clearing of his schedule for a day had been arranged, along with putting together an itinerary of things to do together. He'd even gone the extra mile and asked MacKenzie the favor of being on standby for any F4 related emergencies in his stead (with a caveat that if magic was involved, he should be contacted immediately).

And so, crafting the most precise veil he knew how to, he will slip up behind the object of his affections as she thinks she is off and alone.

"My lady." Comes a whisper over her shoulder, as he manages to keep the tone soft in spite of his grin.

It had been... some time, since Asleif had let herself be so free and unrestricted as that, had let herself be completely vulnerable and open.

She was not unschooled in the more carnal arts, but those times had been about simple pleasure and stolen moments diversion. This had been... much more.

She let her fingers play up and down his chest, her head resting against him.

"That was... magnificent."

	He smiles and strokes her cheek, letting her return her head to resting against him. "I enjoy seeing you smile, so, yes." He strokes her hair fondly, letting his gaze wander around the apartment. He'd been significantly distracted when they fist entered. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The decorations are not overly elaborate, but present with little touches. Her tomes fill one shelf and, hidden from normal view by a spell, her tailsmans and other magical objects lie on a shelf. Greens and golds dominate the color scheme, but with complimentary pieces of black and also small amounts of purple.

Small gifts and cards, from Zoey, occupy a treasured place, as do other reminders of her siblings.

"It feels good to have a true reason to smile," she says, happily.

	He notes the personal items in particular, fingers playing across her shoulders as he sits up a bit, still letting her lay against him. "How merciful thou art." He smiles at her.

"It wasn't that I didn't want to be connected to my mother's house anymore; I just realized that there are people here that are more truly my family. It was time for a fresh start. A real one." He nods to himself.

"I'm busy with preparations for the new school year, and tutoring, for a while, but I would very much like to try another date. Something less extravagant, perhaps." He grins sheepishly. "Less chance of interruption."

The fact that they're both laying down allowing him to work around differences in height, Vincent manages to hold her against him, cradling her head against his chest.
