Jack opened one and peered inside. A smile widened on his face. With his senses he was forced to eat lightly seasoned food, the blander the better. Additives colored the flavors for him as well. On one hand, he was able to enjoy the taste of real food. On the other, he didn't eat out much.
Kal had brought all his favorites, roast chicken, vegetable sticks, fresh bread, the raspberries and blackberries he loved, cold gazpacho soup and for dessert, a selection of cookies and cupcakes.
"This is fantastic. You were busy this morning."
