"So we're completely emptying me out first..." She says, half to herself. "Julian, I... I told you it felt like there were holes in me now. I don't want you to be one of them." She still couldn't tap into powers she'd used before, but she could 'feel' the memory of them, and she could always feel Julian strongest of all. The only other one to come close had been Aleks, and that had been by sheer volatility.
She nods, knowing he's giving sage advice. "I just need to know there's something ahead besides just shaking off morning sickness. That there's still some way to be 'me'."
