All Hope Abandon, Ye Who Enter In!
Between Marlow and Dawn the Defenders had managed to track the shadow demons who had abducted Svalin to the gates of Hades. Countless shades wandered on the shores of the river Acheron. These were the paupers and the friendless, those who did not possess an obolus to pay Charon.

A small boat floated on the dark waters of the river and the cloaked figure of Charon stood in the boat waiting to ferry souls across the river. A skeletal hand clutched a pole and the other was outstretched waiting to receive a fare for crossing.

On the other side of the river stood a large three headed dog and a large two headed dog. Cerebus and Orthus guarded the entrance into Pluto's realm.

	Confident that her brother wasn't going to die and was stable Svalin left the medlab and headed upstairs. A hand went to the small of her back. Pluto wasn't exactly a champion of hospitality and Svalin ached all over. A little bit of food, some water and then she would return to her brother's side. Svalin nodded. "I understand. Wouldst thou like to visit with Halbjorn whilst I gather mine things and speaketh to mine wife? He wast gravely wounded. Asleif hath stabilized him to where he wilt not die."

As much as she wanted to stay on Migard, her child's safety came first. She would return to Migard, of that she had no doubts, but it didn't make leaving any easier.

	Sigurdur finishes the cleaning and sharpening of his weapons, then begins upon his pauldrons. There is still blood from the hellhounds on those, and then perhaps he'll get to those annoying cuts and scratches. When the ladies find him, he stops his work and stands. "How ist Halbjorn?
