Putting in Work (Open to Wild Pack)
Melissa likes her teammates, her sorta-sister-in-law and she loves her girlfriend, but she'd had to obtain some of this information on her own. Unlike a lot of other people, she couldn't just go asking Doctor Strange for help. She also had to check on Bree from time to time, even though she was still under care at Xavier's. Melissa thought she saw a glimmer of recognition in her sister's eyes the last time she showed up, but she hadn't been able to confirm it: someone had come into her room just then, causing Melissa to teleport out.

Meanwhile, she was pretty sure May was pissed at her for hooking her up with a psycho killer. Who knew that that guy was batshit crazy?

All in all, Melissa returns from a few weeks away on "personal business" to Silver Sable International to see her people. She opens the door and calls out in her best Desi Arnaz impersonation...at six a.m.

"Lucy! I'm home!"

Nicolai was used to early mornings he did them a lot for varies reason. While he was not a morning person he was pretty high functioning even though he definitely liked to have his morning coffee before doing anything big. Actually it was typically safer to deal with him after he had his coffee than before it a lesson that a few people had learned a little late. Luckily he had his morning coffee.

"You know most people wait till the afternoon to make their big entrances," Nicolai says, "Bigger audience and their more awake too."

"I bet it was." Melissa says, winking at Nicolai. She didn't need magic to tell her about the sexual tension between Bea and Nicolai.

So what that it might only exist in her head? Lots of things that existed in her head became real. Or already real. Or were real before she shot them.

"Kelly's answer to that question might make you blush, Boss. Be careful." she teases.

"Hey, you'd better hurry before she talks Bea-My-Valentine into that Special Sister Hug she's always wanted." Melissa teases.

"We got anything fun planned, Boss? My trigger fingers are itchy. I only shot twenty-five people while I was gone. I'm on a drought." she says, giving him her best pitiful look...which looks more like a she's considering whether he tastes good with A-1 or not.

"I'd give you my best puppy dog eyes, but I haven't owned a puppy dog since I gave my mom the puppy dog's eyes when I wanted that K-Bar for Christmas when I was ten." Melissa says.

She may or may not be serious.

"We have a couple of missions in the works including a couple of operations from Vita-tech's security departments," Nicolai says, "I'm sure you will be able to shoot some people there." 	"I've got you covered this year, Boss Man. And I weren't in a committed relationship, I'd be all over you just because you like guns and knives." Melissa grins. "Okay, I'm skipping off to bed now.
