Putting in Work (Open to Wild Pack)
Melissa likes her teammates, her sorta-sister-in-law and she loves her girlfriend, but she'd had to obtain some of this information on her own. Unlike a lot of other people, she couldn't just go asking Doctor Strange for help. She also had to check on Bree from time to time, even though she was still under care at Xavier's. Melissa thought she saw a glimmer of recognition in her sister's eyes the last time she showed up, but she hadn't been able to confirm it: someone had come into her room just then, causing Melissa to teleport out.

Meanwhile, she was pretty sure May was pissed at her for hooking her up with a psycho killer. Who knew that that guy was batshit crazy?

All in all, Melissa returns from a few weeks away on "personal business" to Silver Sable International to see her people. She opens the door and calls out in her best Desi Arnaz impersonation...at six a.m.

"Lucy! I'm home!"

"Boss man, I bargain for a lot, which is nice because I always have enough money to buy Christmas presents." Melissa grins.

"But as long as we've got guns and bullets, I'm happy." she says.

"We always like to pay are people well," he says, "You should see our benefits package after working for us for a year."

"I prefer a mixture of guns, bullets, and blades myself," Nicolai says with a smirk.

"I've got you covered this year, Boss Man. And I weren't in a committed relationship, I'd be all over you just because you like guns and knives." Melissa grins.

"Okay, I'm skipping off to bed now. I'll probably up around tomorrow at noon, unless something crazy happens. Ta!" she says cheerily, before vanishing to her bedroom to surprise Kelly.
