A Day Off (Open to TBolts)
Anya Stark-Barton was a workaholic. It was genetic really. Her father was one, her mother was one and according to Dad her grandfather had been one. Anya was carrying on a fine family tradition, but unlike them every once in awhile she needed a day off. Today she was taking one.

She slept in and got six hours of sleep instead of the usual four. Instead of jumping out of bed and hitting the ground running, she slid out of bed and zombie shuffled her way downstairs. She grabbed a bowl of cereal, didn't set it on fire, and headed into the rec room. She fell onto the couch and turned on the tv. Today was going to be a day of doing nothing but sitting in front of the tv and watching movies. Her laptop was upstairs and Goddard was screening all of her calls. He was under orders to only allow calls from Steve and the rest of her family through. Work was going to wait until Tuesday.

Tomorrow morning she'd fly to New York to spend the weekend and her birthday on Monday with her husband. Today was a day just for herself and any other Thunderbolts who wanted to watch movies.

Victor is of a similar mind, apparently. He arrives in the living room with an old film-reel and projector.

"Hey boss-lady, check it out." He holds up the reel and adjusts his hold on the projector under one arm, grinning. "First edition cut of the old Captain America movie. Found it at a vintage shop."

As had become apparent to anyone who shared work-space with him, for all his computer know-how, Victor has a weakness for older machines.

Victor struck a pose, as if to throw the film reel like Cap's shield.

"Get ready to face defeat, at the hands of the American way, you goose-steppers!" He did his best Steve Rogers voice, before laughing and finding a suitable table to put the projector down on.

"I love these old movies... the grain and the crappy sound just give them so much more soul and yet I know I'm sounding like a film snob. I don't care." He smirks.

	Greyson wasn't much for days off. He found the insane archery practice fun that he was off to do. Though part of that might have been that he just didn't really know any better given how he had been raised. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
