Natasha was in bed asleep and Nick next to her. Nick and she had only fallen asleep an hour ago. She couldn't sleep because her husband wasn't home and Nick couldn't sleep because...well he was a Stark and a Romanov. Natasha would swear it was genetic that her kids didn't sleep.
She heard Tony's voice and opened her eyes. Thankfully Nick stayed asleep and she very gently climbed out of bed. She pulled on her robe and headed out to welcome her husband home.
"Welcome home, my love," she said after a yawn. Her arms wrapped around him and she gave him a deep kiss.
