Odin nods once. "Tis the way of Asgard... the gods hath sworn an oath, to stand 'gainst the dark until the end times. We canst not hold it against any of our sons to face adversity... and stay true to their own oaths.
Thou'rt a hero, and a true friend to those of Midgard. When thou'rt able, we wilt welcome thine aid... and for all thou hast done, before I return thee home to stand with thy loved ones in their own time of troubles... I give thee a boon.
When this travail is o'er, if I yet live, call 'pon mine name. It shalt take three days... as I traded three days for mine knowledge of fate. In this time I wilt train thee to cast magics, not as the blooded of Asgard do - but as mortals gain power... calling 'pon dimensional powers for their sorcery. And I shalt train thee how to call to Asgard for aid, to lend power to thine enchantments by calling 'pon a small part of the power of Asgard. And so long as Asgard stands, we wilt aid thee.
For now, thou must return home before the bridge breaks, and we hath just time to send thee. Thy friends need thine aid and foresight now... but when victory ist thine, and victory ist ours... I wilt teach thee, as a gift from Asgard to one of its mortal sons... mortal, but in control of his own fate, thy verse unwritten."
