Derek loves Halloween. It's not just the candy or the festivities or the attractive girls wandering about, but it's a time of year that allowed he and his extended family to roam the streets of San Fransisco without having to hide their identities. So even with the conflicting religious and at times royal priorities Halloween was a blessed day for Derek because it represented a day that he could just be him.
