That doesn't sound promising....

No one had ever made an appointment with her. When Angelo had asked if she could meet him downstairs in the garden at 3, of course she'd agreed...though she didn't know why he couldn't just walk up to her and ask her instead of *calling* her . She hadn't seen him since Halloween...she had to assume he was avoiding her, that she'd crossed some major line and he was finally going to tell her that waht she'd done was inappropriate...and he had the right...but hell, it wasn't like she was a trogladite.

She headed down to the garden at 5 to 3, to wait.

"We're 17...I'm not expecting Tavern on the Green and a Braodway show...a date is about spending time *together*..now about how much you can get a guy to spend, that's just not right..it's not the kind of girl I want to be. Netflix...is *perfect*, they just put this BBC miniseries of Sherlock Holmes up...I don't know how someone that asexual can still have so many women after him."

He doesn't, but he'll assume it's witty. He teleports them to his favorite co-op in the East Village, and leads her in, making a beeline for the produce section. He's finally gotten the embassy kitchen's spice cabinet stocked to his satisfaction, but he never buys fruit and veg too far in advance. He picks up a few onions, going through the offerings with intense scrutiny.

	Angelo grins. "Of course, pick whatever ones you feel look best. I can use them for the dessert I have planned." Having secured the onions, he goes for the garlic next, sniffing a bulb before placing it in his satchel. He scowls at some chili peppers, but manages to find some that are up to standards. Some tomatoes, a container of organic yogurt, and ginger root join the other ingredients, before Angelo heads for the meat department. After some more obsessing, he grabs a cut of steak. He's just fixing it for the two of them, so he can afford to up the grade of meat a bit.

"I'm all set. Was there anything else you wanted while we're here? They have some excellent cheeses and raw honey, if you need a snack to hold you until dinner."
