Swords are said to be less than ideal against chain weapons. That hardly seems to matter. He times his swing perfectly, catching the end of the chain, turning his sword once to capture it, and pulls, trying to use momentum while he has the man coming at him to tug him into close quarters where his greater reach weapon won't matter.
"You have attacked my lord. You are now my concern." he answers with the same flat, straightforward tone.
"Very unfortunate for you."
