Intro post - Homecoming.
Weary. That was exactly how she was feeling as she pulled her bags out from the back of the cab, feeling a sense of relief that she'd gotten a typical New York driver; one who refused to get out of his car and help her. Ah, but isn't it great to be home. She'd barely closed the trunk when the car took off, prompting a smile to cross her face. Hefting her bags, she slogged up the stairs and wrestled open the front doors, taking in that first whiff of Xavier's; the scent of home. "Honey, I'm home," she said softly, a smile on her face. Shuffling her bags in, she listened for any sound of activity as she made her way up to her room.

	Despite himself, he chuckled a bit. "Perhaps they actually have enough sense not to. Either that or perhaps my cousin has urged them away from such folly." "Cousin? Now, which one's that?" She caught the movement, the ambient soundwaves in the room giving her enough of a 'view' of him and her surrounding location. Smiling, she tipped her chin at him. "I'm not completely blind, you know. You can do things like nod, Fred. And yeah. Raised here. Graduated and the whole shebang. Just.. went on an extended vacation, until I started feeling homesick."

	They will be interrupted by a cry of "WEEHAWKEN!" Fred could, understandably, not be expected to understand old science fiction references involving humorous situations involving bats-to-human translation. Sasha, knowing Sylvie, will have heard it before, as the school's favorite sometimes-wheelchair-bound linguist, will be crawling her way over. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Sasha!" And there will be hugging, with all four of Sylvie's arms.

"Hey Fred. Do yourself a favor and read Alfred Bester's 'The Animal Fair.' You'll enjoy it. Sasha hear, like the story's protagonist, speaks Bat. Besides, there's a bit with moles arguing about the Big Bang versus steady state cosmogony theories; it's a treat. Anyway, Sasha, you have to tell me everything."
