Grabbing Some Grub (Open)
Anya sat at the small table and focused on the screen on the table in front of her. Just because she was eating lunch it didn't mean she couldn't work. Work was consuming all of her time and energy lately and would probably continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The burger on the plate had a few bites out of it and only a few fries were missing. Anya's mind was focused on food and not work.

He beams, "Great! I wanted to ask you about this, hold on a sec." He takes a deep breath to concentrate and make sure his hands don't spark before reaching into his lucky hat and fishing out the device she'd given the team as a Christmas present and making it levitate until he lets it gently down on the table.

"I figured out how to work it without my hands but...I'm not sure how to carry it around and aim it without my hands. I tried putting it in my belt but then I can't just telekinetically rotate it and shoot. Can you help?"

	He blinks at her for a moment. "Whoa really? That's really impressive. What other stuff have you made?" He may think magic is a much better way of doing things but he's still impressed that people can make such interesting things without it. 	More shocked blinking, "How do you buy one jewelry? I mean she can't even wear it...I thought the Sanctum Sanctorum had some weird stuff but..." Wait, runs this building? Oh dear. "Glad to hear it Plato! I promise not to use magic on you. Can you call me Martin though? Mister Baum sounds odd."

Putting aside his finished plate he glances at Anya a little surprised. "Don't worry about that! I just use the back of a pen to type, see?" To demonstrate he twirls his index finger and makes one of the pens on the table glow blue and levitate before making it tap the table a few times and letting it back down. "It's a little slow but it works."

	"Noted." "I can rig it so you'll be able to they keyboard," she said. She was going to install a small holographic projector and force field generator. That would project the keyboard into the air and make it any size he needed. She used the same technology in her lab. It wouldn't be hard to adapt it to a laptop. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"You really don't need to," he flushes from embarassment. "I mean you're already doing the cool zapping device thing for me. I can work with the pen, it's really okay." Martin looks down and fidgets with his gloves again. Asking for help because of his hands always made him feel so useless, he'd only asked about the device because he really wanted to be able to use it.

"Alright, but I still do need to do something for you." Martin frowns and drums his fingers against the brim of his hat before continuing, "Well I can do decorating and fireworks, but I don't think that's too useful to you. I'm a really good teleporter! Did you need a teleport somewhere? Long distance isn't a problem!" He stuffs his arms into the lucky hat until he's past elbow-deep in it and fishes around for something while he talks.

	"It's a deal then! Guess I don't need this then," Martin shoves the giant, and rather old, spellbook back he's taken out back into his hat and smiles.
