Evie flinched at the loud voice echoing down the corridor. She didn't know who or what the 'Avengers' were, but she wasn't getting caught again. Not now that she'd finally found a key to unlock the collar, glaring at it as she threw it at a wall with an added psionic boost, watching it shatter in satisfaction.
No, she'd be getting out of here now. Unbound, she hovered a few inches off the floor, keeping the press of bodies at bay with her mind, a cleared area around her where no one was touching or bumping into her. Then she started to fly.
Out. She was getting out of here. And she was never going to be caged again.
