Dragons, Unicorns, and Dinosaurs Oh My!
Zoey loved New York City. When they came to New York it meant that Zoey could visit Scotty. No matter what business her mother had in the city with her job, she always made sure Zoey had the chance to visit Scotty. Zoey brought all her Super Buddies toys with her and her favorite movie.

After they played with the toys and watched the movie they moved onto playing Hide And Go Seek. Scotty was it and Zoey ran to hide. She ended up in a room with a lot of gadgets and machines. She hid under the desk. Giggles came from her. Scotty would never find her here.

Zoey waited for what seemed a long time. Maybe she had hid too well and Scotty got tired of looking for her and was doing something else. Maybe he gave up and she would be waiting here all day. Maybe she should go see what he was doing.

She crawled out from under the desk. It was time to go find...what was that glowing square thing? It looked NEAT.

Zoey moved the chair over to it and climbed up on the chair. Pretty!

The dragon did not know why it was suddenly in this place, but it did not like it. It was angry. These small noisy creatures, the bright lights, the constant irritating racket. It hated it all. And it would destroy them all utterly.

It then heard a shout and a lone female of one of the creatures came at it. It turned its head with annoyance and sent a burst of flame at the nuisance.

	Svalin yanked the shield on her back and settled it on her left arm. Her sword in her right and she charged in. The shield absorbed the flames and not even the heat touched her as she ran toward the dragon. As soon as she was close enough she took a swing with her sword. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kael didn't waste time waiting for an answer as to just why the Hel there was a dragon on Midgard. As Svalin attacked the beast head-on, he charged in from the side, swinging his sword at the beast's leg. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The dragon hadn't expected the its adversary to be able to survive its flames and good in close as it did. The blow struck, and while it left its mark on the dragon, it was hardly a debilitating blow. Now more aware of its enemies, the dragon caught the grey-skinned mammal coming in and swung his tail to knock him aside. It swung one of its front claws forward at Svalin.

	Svalin was grinning like a fool as she fought the dragon. Finally! She had been looking forward to fighting a dragon again for over a year now. Svalin waited to the last second and dodged to the side, bringing her sword down as hard as she could on the dragon's claw. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kael stopped quick and rolled to the side, barely missing the tail as it swung just inches above his head. The dragon roared in anger as Svalin's blade pierced the skin of its claw. It quickly shoots it's neck forward in an attempt to wrap its jaws around her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The dragon snarled at shield blow, but kept his snout back, avoiding the swordblow. However Kael came back in, swinging a powerful blow to the back of the dragon's right rear-leg. The creature roared in fury, driving a leg back, sending Kael flying into a car. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The dragon was beyond furious. Through the pain of Svalin's strikes it opened it's mouth suddenly to belt her with its flames at point-blank range.

If Kael was grateful for one trait his father gave him, it was far greater durability than a pure-blooded Dark Elf. He saw what the dragon was doing. A that range...

"Svalin!" kael ran as fast as he could, thankfully he retained enough of his kin's traditional fleet-footedness. He leaped forward, tackling Svalin just as the dragon's flames burst out. It had been close, very close. His shirt was on fire and Kael quickly pulled it off. "Are you all right?"

	"The Dark Elf being a distraction? You're stereotyping, Lady Svalin," he teased, with a smile. When the dragon finally stopped, Kael darted out as Svalin said. He grabbed a piece of a debris and flung it at the dragon's head. The projectile connected, causing the dragon to roar in anger and turn its attention to Kael. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kael caught a glimpse of Svalin leaping toward the dragon's back. "Impressive valor. ..suicidal perhaps, but impressive." Svalin successfully lands on the dragon's back. The dragon hisses in anger, trying to swat the goddess off with its tail. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin's grip slipped and she fell down to a rooftop. There was a Svalin shaped dent in the roof. She groaned and started to pick herself. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kael figured now was a good time to get himself back in the battle. Another trait inherited from his father was strong leg muscles. He leaped up to balcony and quickly jumping to another. Hoping to make it times as the dragon seemed to be diving in to finish off Svalin before she could react. Seeing little recourse, he took his sword and flung like a javelin at the dragon. The sword pierced it's body almost to the hilt. The beast roared in pains just a few feet from Svalin. It wasn't dead yet, but Kael's blow had severely wounded it, and given Svalin a chance to strike.

	Svalin saw the opportunity and rushed to take it. She dropped her shield and put both hands on her sword. She leaped into the air to bring the sword down at the base of the thing's skull. "FOR ASGARD!" she yelled. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
