"All the time." she agrees. "I sleep with a gun under my pillow, another sewn into it, one under the mattress... and not just because they're sexy." She shrugs. "Weapon X made me. I never had any happy memories or family or days in the park. I read my own psych reports, I know how normal I'm not. But the truth is, I'll never totally escape it, and I know it. So I do my best to just look forward, take elephant tranqs that'll help me get towards sleep before the healing factor kills it on the bad nights, and remind myself in the mornings that I'm not in their control anymore."
