Moving Chess Pieces
Ophois had plans. Those plans required very careful maneuvering and he didn't want those whelps of Thor to interfere. It was time to put some things into motion that should provide a big enough distraction to allow him to do what he needed to do.

He had a few people to visit to set things in motion.

The first stop was the Defenders' compound. They had a few items in their vault he wanted.

Jaya Indrajit Sharma stared at her reflection in the mirror. She would say that she became more beautiful each day. Movement in the mirror caught her attention and for a second she thought it was that worthless servant that had folded her towels wrong, but she was surprised to see a man standing there.

"How dare you!" she yelled.

Ophois smiled and explained who he was and what he was doing there. A moment later Jaya accepted the Verdant Vial of Valtorr from him and became Decay.
