Kael quickly interposed himself between the two attackers and the fleeing Vernique. "You have other problems." He turns to slam the flat of his blade into Carnivore's face. He knows on Midgard it is preferred that killing be prevented if possible. Kael grabs a cash register and flings it at Stonecutter's head.
