Kael tried to get his blade back into position, but Carnivore's claws did cut deeply into his arm. Initially surprised, Kael knew he had enhanced durability from his father's blood, instead twisted the blade to bring Carnivore's claws in a temporary twist. He knew it wouldn't be long before Carnivore got loose, so he attempted a kick with all the force he could muster to send the enhanced mortal back.
He grabs at other objects, throwing them hard at Stonecutter, hoping to keep the pair focused on him rather than Vernique and Solver.
