By and large, Jordan is usually pretty good at finding legitimate ways to bend the rules, rather than outright defying them. He likes to game the system, rather than working outside it.
But even more, he doesn't want to see anyone hurt when he can stop it. His purpose is to be his team's protector, and he's not living up to it. So really... screw the rules on this one.
He shows up, seeing his team in rough shape... but moving. He's grateful for that.
"Hey, you haven't beaten Alpha Flight until you go through me."
