	Anya managed to look a little sheepish. "Really? Huh. Didn't seem that long. I'm beginning to suspect there's a temporal anomaly centered on the lab." She gave him a quick kiss. "Thanks Manny but it's okay. I like the sour cream and onion ones better." He wants to ask where he'd gone to buy them where they wouldn't mind customers who were...different. It was hard to find those places, and part of the reason he never bought stuff by himself.

"She's been in there a looong time though...you should take her out more often." He's never actually been in the lab so he assumes there's no place to sleep or eat there. It was best to keep the magic out of her lab. "I know someone on the Avengers," he adds.

Buck's knowledge of the majority of pop culture is pretty limited - so having missed out on the UCWF and celebrity world shouldn't be too much of a shock to anyone who knows him.

"I'll keep that in mind. The team and training keeps me pretty busy too... but I'll try and get out this way." He nods in response to Manny's question. "Buck Rogers, yes. Nice to meet you both."

"Dad is still using the shield. Maybe after he retires, but there's no plans for that." he replies without hesitation or any sign he covets the role. "I don't really wear the flag colors either, but he did train me." he continues.

"And I will definitely pass that along, Manny. I know Dad hasn't kept in touch with a lot of people - but I hope your dad is doing alright. I know he had a tough road for a long time, if I remember the files all right."
