The Yang is back
Okay technically it was frowned upon, and disapproved of silently, for him to go to Xavier's. Especially since he was now working at the Genoshan embassy. But hey, that restriction was when he was on duty. Right now he wasn't, so technically they couldn't complain, this wasn't in an official capacity. Just a social visit to see an old friend. Well he'd be doing the seeing at least.

He'd rented a bike and driven up to the mansion, and wow did it look the same as ever. Although he wondered how many times it'd been rebuilt since he was last here. He'd be betting on at least three. There's a quick knocking on the door and then he waits patiently for someone to answer it.

	While she's shrieking he's laughing, but then again he's done this before and experimented with it a lot. And he'd known what was going on. Again they drop and are catapulted to and fro by explosions, from afar it'd look like they were bouncing around in the air. This had been the part he really wanted to show her. He's laughing right along with her, as fun as this was by himself, it was far more enjoyable with her to share it with. He'd finally got the technique down during his time in Genosha and had been waiting to show it to her.

The next explosion sends them by far the highest they've been today, and smaller ones help propel them up even more, until they're about twice as high up as the roof had been. He can't help the grin on his face as they dive down.

	She's almost giggling as they drop back down, her stomach feeling like it was up in her throat. That edge of danger, large and looming as it was, made it all the more exciting, though, her safety net of Simon's ability blunted it just enough to make it enjoyable. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The experience was nothing short of exhilarating, and even though he knew it was all in his hands, that only made the adrenaline rush that much better. There was no relying on anyone else for once, he was his own safety net and in total control.

Simon is so pleased she's enjoying it that they continue bouncing around, while he slowly brings them closer and closer back to the ground, until he's sure they're both so dizzy that it may be time to call it quits before he loses all sense of direction.

"That was fun," he laughs, still a little breathless, as he lays down on some grass nearby the site once they land. Yes, definitely better with Sasha for company.

	She is giggling now, collapsing on the ground, lying on her back and laughing up at the sky. "That was a blast, pun totally intended." Looking over, she's more than pleased to see that smile on his face. He could be surly and a little down sometimes, but that was just that huge facade he put up to keep people from seeing the fragile part. She liked that part. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Told you so," he grins. "And all it cost was one building." Truthfully, he doesn't like anyone seeing that part of him, but with her for some reason it was okay. They understood each other better than most people ever did, and around her his hearing was never an issue. With others he did worry about them staring and noticing the hearing aids and, even worse, talking about all that.

"Good thing we did this before lunch."

	"One building already scheduled for boom-boom. I'm down with that." She did what she could to make him feel somewhat normal when they were around each other, like accentuating his hearing. It was a small thing she could do, but it eased him somewhat. Made him less grumpy. She liked that. "Yeah, I don't think I would have liked getting my comeuppance then." 	The only thing he ever worried about around her was that he wasn't doing as much for her as she did for him. So sometimes he'd try to do fun outings like this to even it out a bit in his mind. "Heh, like you'd know what it looks like," he teased. When they got inside it was clear there was another reason he liked this place so much. Since you couldn't just order a basic burger but had to specify all the toppings and sauces, even how well the burger was to be done, normally these places would be a hassle for him. Having to clarify your choices when you couldn't hear what you were clarifying very well? Nightmare.

But here they had a little order form where he could just tick off what he wanted and pay. Hassle free and good food. He'd been sold on the first visit. "I recall owing you a bribe for following along on the adventure?"

"You can just suck it, bub." Looking over the little check-mark system, she could see why it appealed to him. Yet another way he could avoid pointing out his disability, one that truly annoyed him.

"Indeed, there was bribery mentioned. I believe the sacrifice of cow flesh and accouterments will satisfy my need for recompense." Nose in the air, she began ticking off what she wanted.

If the owner looked at them oddly, neither took head to it. Simon came here often enough that he was pretty much a regular, and one didn't look at regulars funny.

"Yes Oh Great Owl, for such a meager sacrifice could hardly be enough to appease you. Please, as compensation take too the remaining hours of my day to spend how you wish," he says dramatically as he gives both their orders and pays for them.
