Breaking Ground
The private jet wheeled to a stop near a hangar in a corner of the airport near Hammer Bay, Genosha. The plane was an hour late in arriving, but there had been a delay getting out of Paris (and it wasn't because of shopping as one would think). The door to the jet opened and the steps were lowered as the driver of a waiting car exited the vehicle and opened the trunk to receive luggage.

Anya stepped into the doorway of the plane and blinked against the bright sunlight. She had managed to catch a little sleep on the flight to Genosha. It had been a week filled with meetings all over the globe and she had been running on caffeine and little sleep. Thankfully this was the last stop before heading home to Boston.

She took a deep breath and started down the stairs.

Andrew is clearly used to this, having already moved to take his place. "I can appreciate people with devotions like your friend. We've been very lucky here to have some of the people who can more directly handle a lot of the environmental concerns in an organized fashion. Still a lot of work to do, but despite the disasters Genosha has seen, the nation has been able to recover a lot of the natural state of the island very quickly."
