Attack of the Cyborg-alien-dinosaur-ninja-priates with lazer eyes from space (Open)
It was a quiet misty morning in New York City. Thus far nothing to out of the normal had happen but the day was still young.

Then a loud roaring like thunder came from the sky as a burning and crashing spaceship headed towards the center of Central Park.

A loud boom struck through the entire city as the ship crashed in the park leaving a big crater. Then the crew of the ship began to make there way out of the wreckage of the ship.

Now what was this? Another T-Rex? Awesome. Except this one was shooting guns, had laser beam eyes, a cybernetic hook, and could talk? Greatest. Thing. Ever.

He should've tried this crimefighting thing earlier if it meant this sort of stuff. Why didn't they advertise this part of the job more?!

With a gleeful grin, Martin swoops down on one of his magic discs to see this up close for himself. He hoped someone was taking a picture. Maybe they'd give him a copy?

This really was the coolest thing. Even cooler than demons! He had to get a picture.

"Hey! Could you stop for a moment? I want a picture. This is the coolest thing ever!" He floats closer on his flying disc and turns to give a bystander with a cameraphone a cheery wave. "Could you send that picture to me? Just send it to the Thunderbolts!"

This was like an early birthday present.

	"Did you get it? Thanks! Remember, send it to the Thunderbolts. In Boston!" With that he gleefully follows after the rampaging dinosaur, still too excited over the fact that this existed at all. "Hi there! Where are you from?" He throws up a much larger disc as a shield to stop the dino from advancing anymore. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Martin doesn't bother trying to strengthen that shield, it was only to stop him for a moment. So he throws up another one behind the old one that's now cracking under fire. "Yeah but people say dinosaurs are extinct but I fought a T-Rex around here not that long ago. And we have weird stuff." Although Martin is even more excited. A talking dinosaur that was also a space pirate? Everyone could be jealous because this was the coolest thing.

"Now that I've got a picture...you should stop blowing things up. I know it's fun and all but it hurts people." He doesn't wait for a response and instead sends blasts of magic from his gloves, aiming at the dino's eyes, that explode in different colours upon impact. Huh, this guy was sturdy, that meant...he could try new spells!

	Dino kept on firing at the shield till the spell hit him in the eyes temporarily blinding him and knocking him off balance still firing wildly. "But hurting people's the best part." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The shields crack under fire and disappear, but Martin doesn't seem to mind, he does take the opportunity to go in closer to see the hook. Probably too close but still.

"No that's not the best part at all. You don't get it, maybe you should try fireworks. They're like colourful explosions," he explains matter-of-factly as if this was s normal conversation and not one with a talking dinosaur.

Ooh, cool hook! But the electrified swipe nearly hits Martin, instead managing to hit his flying magic disc, effectively jolting in and throwing Martin off. He crashes not too far away into some charred car remains.

"Hey! Not nice! I was totally going to ask if you had any friends because talking cyborg dinos with hooks and lasers are cool." Now he's a little annoyed. Not too annoyed because this was still cool. His eyes glow blue as he concentrates to try for some telekinetic work. He knows the dino is too big for time freezes or anything really like that. So instead he tries to take control of the hook and lasers for a bit and turn them against their owner.

	His sight starting to come back, Dino turns towards Martin to attack him with some laser blasts and the hook if he can get close enough. He was with he had his katana attachment instead right now. But find himself having trouble doing that. "Hey what gives?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Got you! Fancy lasers aren't so useful against magic!" Okay strictly speaking, non-magic people could do this in other ways, his just used magic. But still... Now his eyes glow brighter as he strains to turn all the fancy lasers and hooks to attack their owner. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dino wasn't quite out of it yet even if he was hurting a lot. There was no way he was letting some backwater planet local beat him. Even if he was not quite sure what just happened. Dino throws himself up in a fast jerky motion trying to take a bite of Martin with what was left of his strength. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He really should know better by now. Don't get too close to enemies, especially since he had no extra durability others had. But this was too interesting to care.

Martin does a rapid and slightly panicked teleport away and ends up in the air above the dino, now back to standing on one of his magic discs. "You're fun." He sits down and takes off his hat to drum his fingers against it for a moment, thinking. Now what new spell to test out here...hmmm

Suddenly he grins and the disc swoops lower and down the street. "Catch me if you can dino!"

Not that the teen would be much of a meal, but still Martin zooms through the streets, sitting cross-legged on his magic disc and swerving for fun.

The dino can't see it, and Martin isn't sure if the thing had dealt with magic before, but Martin starts the chant under his breath and his eyes begin to glow again. He just needs to buy some time. Hopefully this works.

	Dino keeps chasing after him coming close to getting Martin a few times but not quite fast enough. He had never dealt with magic before and it was making him pretty angry. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He leads the dino on a wild chase for a bit, having more close calls than he should, until finally he reaches the end of the chant. It was a big spell. He finally stops the disc and spins around, glowing eyes and a gleeful grin. First try for this spell, here it goes!

He casts the spell, forming a small ball of demon fire in front of the advancing dino. Now all he needed to do was to make sure that he controlled the- oh no, no no no. Martin frantically tries to reign in the magic he can feel slipping from his control. Too much power, damn.

And the relatively small magic fireball, grows and grows until it bursts with a bang, spiralling outward and sending waves of flames out in its path which seem intent on destroying everything within a certain radius.

	One well charded Dino falls to the ground with a thud not moving in the center of a lot of destruction. Which in any other situation he would have though was pretty awesome. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ow. Well that didn't go as planned. Luckily his clothing was charmed to be fire-proof but still, he wasn't. Brushing some singed hair out of his face, Martin looks at his charred talking dino. Well that had been cool while it lasted. At least he could blame the destruction on the burnt dinosaur.

Good thing he'd gotten the picture first. He was going to frame it and put it next to the purple guinea pig's cage. It'd be like superheroing souvenirs! Perfect.
