Road trip- Carjacked!
Stepping out of the roadside diner they'd made a stop at, Lena feels refreshed and ready to go. She figured it was her turn at the wheel now anyway, poor Tim had done most of the driving until now.

"Okay, I'll admit, I know about your whole thing about getting fellow lab people out and about to enjoy society and all but this is actually quite fun. There, I said it. I can enjoy being out of the lab."

In fact, maybe she'd make the effort to leave it more oft- ...damn it. No. This could not be...she'd bet the new equipment on it's way to her lab that they'd parked the car right there! And it had been locked. 

There's some unlady-like swearing under her breath now.

"Riiight. You keep thinking that," she teased.

She follows and gets into the passenger seat, feeling very relieved. "Feels good to have the car back. I'm not sure if this warrants a celebratory drink or a let's-drink-so-when-questioned-we-don't-remember-anything drink."

"I'm not," he insisted.

"It does. Let's go for a drink and then we can forget that this ever happened."

"Uh huh," she smiled and shook her head. No, he totally was.

"It's unanimous then. To the bar farthest from the nearest SHIELD base it is."

Tim grumbled quietly under his breath. He wasn't a teddy bear. He just wasn't.

"I'll buy," he said and started the car.

All that grumbling wasn't going to deter her.

"Fine," she sighed, not wanting to argue over it. "But I buy the second round," Lena insists.
