Road trip- Carjacked!
Stepping out of the roadside diner they'd made a stop at, Lena feels refreshed and ready to go. She figured it was her turn at the wheel now anyway, poor Tim had done most of the driving until now.

"Okay, I'll admit, I know about your whole thing about getting fellow lab people out and about to enjoy society and all but this is actually quite fun. There, I said it. I can enjoy being out of the lab."

In fact, maybe she'd make the effort to leave it more oft- ...damn it. No. This could not be...she'd bet the new equipment on it's way to her lab that they'd parked the car right there! And it had been locked.

There's some unlady-like swearing under her breath now.

"Here's a lame bio one," she starts as she takes another drink. "How'd it start again...was it 'if I was an enzyme'...anyway, heh, I think it was that. If I was an enzyme...I'd be helicase so I could unzip your genes." She giggles at the cheesy bio pickup line. "Someone during my undergrad tried to use that in a bar."

	"Well, it's been a while since I've had a hobby...I suppose I could give it a try." But she agreed with him, she should try and get out more. As much as it pained her to be away from the lab.
