I'm Back, Baby!
New Orleans.

For a brief moment, it seemed as though the sky had opened up.  And, in a way, it had.  The portal between Olympus (the dimension, not the Mountain, though the Mountain was kind of in the dimension, and well, frankly he never really thought too hard about it because hard thinking made his head hurt) and the realm of the humans had opened up and someone, or rather something, had rather unceremoniously been pushed through.

He fell for a time, finally smacking into the ground with a very loud thud.  That he managed not to leave  a gigantic crater in the ground or hit anyone could probably be chalked up to divine providence.   He stood, dusted himself off, and looked skyward, shaking his fist.

"I had a hat!"

His helmet hit the ground like a missile, embedding itself in the ground.  He retrieved it and placed in on his head.  "Thank-you."

It was good to be back in the mortal realm.
