From Amusement Park to...Jail?
Getting her out of the lab was an achievement itself. Getting her out of the lab to go to an amusement park? That was even more of a feat.

But here she was, first amusement park visit since she'd left school and now she remembered why she had grumbled about the place before. Overpriced food, tickets, games and not to mention the long lines. Okay, secretly she loved rollercoasters but who had time anymore? Although last time she'd gone there'd been a discussion of the physics of rollercoasters. While on one.

She half expected Tim to do that too. Not that she'd mind because nerdy fun was always a plus.

"I'm reserving a round of one of those shooting games. Those I can actually win something at."

The cop looks pointedly at the bomb fragment Tim had picked up. "Cleaning up after yourselves." But with the way he motions his colleagues to come help escort them both to the police station, it doesn't seem like he's in the mood to discuss anymore.

"Oh for.." Lena can't believe her terrible luck. "At least we still get a bail out call which will at least make these guys look stupid once SHIELD comes," she whispers to Tim. Although she had no intention of calling higher ups for this, someone else would do.

The policeman confirms this and Lena just rolls her eyes at this all, not even listening to the cops at this point. They're escorted to the station while all the bystanders gawk.

After useless questioning, where the cops had decided to latch onto the fact that Tim and Lena had passed by the concession stand when they fist entered the park, they were both stuck in a holding cell. Although she insisted there was nothing suspicious about discussing the chemistry and mechanics of those soda machines and the syrup they used.

"I can't believe we're in jail. Us. I mean...meek mad scientists. Ugh," she groaned once the cops had left. "Lowest point right here."

	"They have nothing to hold us on," Tim said. "Besides, I bet someone is already on the way." Tim figured their names were run and that would have flagged someone at SHIELD. It wouldn't be too long before someone was here to get them out. He hoped. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Yes, only making this more embarrassing. We still have those calls right? So who're we calling? And who will keep quiet about this best..." Which was a very important consideration. "I'd go with Josh since it'll be good revenge for the teasing he'll give. And he owes me for the rush I put on some samples for him. Although maybe someone who could take this flag out of the SHIELD database would do just as well..."

"...No offence Tim but uh," she ponders for a moment how to put this. "I know they're your family and all but...frankly I don't want to have to get the big boss to bail us out. You're the godson, I'll just be the problematic employee. And I'm never problematic! Maybe we should stick with someone less...high up?" At least for more job security. She knew Fury had hired her because of her specialization in metahuman biology and he wanted someone like that on his payroll and who wasn't a hero who might disagree. But it didn't mean she wanted to risk too much finding out how much he needed her.

"If they even knew who he was," she rolled her eyes. "I mean, they'd probably treat his SHIELD ID like it was out of a cereal box." Which...actually might make her okay with Fury coming. If only to see his reaction to that. And they were just at an amusement park, not like there was anything they'd done worthy of arrest...But ugh, still, the guy who personally hired you having to come bail you out? Embarrassing.
