Toni's "Anya's up to something" alarm bells were going off. It was a sense she'd developed long ago. It didn't necessarily mean something bad, but she'd learned to recognize the signs.
Iason's reaction gets a laugh out of her. "Hopefully not so excited that she's forgetting to eat. Or sleep." This was said with the air of someone who'd had to remind Anya of those things.
She smiled at Any's declaration. "God, I hope so. I cannot afford to fail."
