She was excited. Emmeline had never really gotten to spend large amounts of time with her cousin, being that he was mostly never on Earth.

"No disasters yet on the Avengers front, though. I want to keep it that way, but I just know it won't work out like that. I'm glad you're staying longer this time, though. We really never got to spend enough time together."

"Perfect! I need a guide for New York. I've never been through it by myself before. If it wasn't for the giant logo atop the building, I'd have thought Lockjaw brought me to the wrong place when I first came. Speaking of, I'm sure I can request he come down here if you'd like to see him." Despite being an 800 pound bulldog, Lockjaw would always be the least threatening and friendliest dog Aleron could imagine. And he used to give great rides too.

"Well I'm sure you're well equipped for it but be careful anyway. That way we'll get more time together I assure you. But...question." He reaches out to examine a few strands of her hair. "Why the inducer tonight? Is it not a night full of superheroes anyway? No need to hide." He didn't find her blue form odd, if anything, he preferred it. After all, there were plenty of inhumans with similar visible changes due to the mists.

"Awww, I'd love to see Lockjaw," she replied. He was such a nice dog, and she loved petting him.

"I'm not really hiding," Emmeline replied. "Blue skin and this dress? Not a match. And I don't have the money to buy enough outfits for two skin tones, plus the accessories. Oh, and shoes? With three toes? Forget it."

Oh, the life of a girl with abnormal features.

"The inducer just makes dressing up so much easier. It's like when the Fairy Godmother magic'd Cinderella into a beautiful gown."

"Good. I'd hate if you were. But perhaps Luna could help, or mother, with the dress issue. There's all sorts of seamstresses in Attilan good for that stuff."

He looks over to the dance floor. "Come on, you can show me the Earth dancing I've never quite learnt and tell me about this Cinderalla. Is that the one with the wolf?" He could never keep the earth fairytales straight in his head. "And after you'll need to give me tips on what I should know now that I'm staying longer here. Perhaps we can go somewhere in the city another time. I need this hot dog thing explained because nobody has yet..."

"I hadn't thought of that," Emmeline commented at the mention of Luna and Crystal. They were talented at that sort of thing, it was true.

She smiled and grabbed her cousin's hand to lead him to the dance floor. Even if she knew Aleron might step on her feet occasionally, she also knew he could be pretty light on them. Que inward laughter.

"Cinderella is about a girl who lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters, and falls in love with the Prince," she corrected. She almost paused at the mention of hot dogs, though.

"Oh no, honey. You don't want one of those explained to you. Then you won't want to eat it."

"And she becomes part of a royal family? Interesting. Court affairs must have been difficult for her." He tries to remember the rest of the story, didn't she have magic slippers? Or was it something else? Perhaps the slippers had spells to make people like her more? Who knew.

"Oh but I don't understand though, are they actually dogs? Because people walk them and eat them at the same time. I've assured Lockjaw that he didn't need to worry about me eating him."

"Not really. Disney politics are a lot more simple. Everybody just accepted the fact that the Prince was in love with her, and they lived happily ever after." Yup, Disney was magical. Not very practical, by any means; but magical none-the-less.

"They're not made of dog," she assured him. "They're pork. I don't know why we call them hot dogs, really. They're really good, though. Until you figure out how they're made. Then you just kind of... stop liking them."

Unfortunately, Emmeline was one of those people who'd... lost her appetite for hot dogs.

"Well even if they accepted it she still has official duties," he insisted. Official duties were not enjoyable at all, and would be even more confusing for someone that didn't grow up on it.

"Oh. Good to hear but they shouldn't call them that. It's misleading and worries poor Lockjaw. But I take it you won't tell me how they're made?" He can't help but smile teasingly. "Any other Earth foods I should avoid?"

Aleron chuckled, "Lockjaw is a kind soul and I would hate to have him thinking people were looking at him like food." Sloppy Joe's? He can only blink at her in confusion. Was this the owner of some unsanitary restaurant? Weren't there laws for that sort of thing? "...Okay? I hope he cleans it up though before he is shut down."
