She nods.

And she wants to move the conversation on. But she doesn't want to talk about the next meeting with the Scandinavians. Or the latest national security report. Or how American electoral politics might affect anything. She wants the world to turn without them tonight.... and she finds it's hard to remember how to talk when that's happening. There's an awkward low chuckle. "Do you see any more of that apple cider around?"

	Its true that his life pretty much revolves around the pursuit of world politics these days. He's tried, here and there, to find some special occasions - New Years, for example, he's been good at reserving for them... but they're few and far between.
